Sensitivities of Finite-frequency Body Waves: Inner-core Sensitive PKP Phases

  1. The AxiSEM backward wavefield database utilized the reciprocity theorem of Green’s function and can further extract the synthetic seismograms with arbitrary source-receiver pair and focal mechanism.

  2. PKIKP and PKPbc delay time kernels show a classical banana-doughnut patterneven in a 1 Hz frequency, and PKPab kernels show a counter-banana-doughnut shape intheouter core.
